We’re a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to help create and sustain the conditions in which businesses in the UK can compete and prosper for the benefit of all. We are the premier lobbying organisation for UK business on national and international issues.
We are the premier lobbying organisation for UK business on national and international issues. We work with the UK government, international legislators, the business community and policymakers to help UK businesses compete effectively. Every department of government influences the prosperity and profitability of business, but the impact of proposed legislation may not be fully understood by those who devise it. The CBI is therefore vital to the entire business community because it can mobilise opinion and successfully bring influence to bear on government.
