Being LGBT+ at Capsticks

At Capsticks, we’re committed to LGBT+ inclusion – to creating a workplace where LGBT+ colleagues feel supported, respected and able to thrive.

A central part of this is Prism, our LGBT+ employee network, which supports and promotes the interests of LGBT+ colleagues and their allies across the firm. Prism provides a supportive community, runs events and awareness activity throughout the year, and works with the firm to help ensure inclusion is embedded into everyday practice.

Prism also supports practical inclusion initiatives, including guidance on trans and non‑binary inclusion, optional use of pronouns in email signatures, and clear signposting to policies and support.

To help widen access to the legal profession, Prism sponsors a paid LGBT+ legal internship. This offers an LGBT+ undergraduate hands‑on legal work experience, mentoring from a lawyer, and the opportunity to gain insight into life at a specialist law firm.
